Support Continuing Education
When you become an annual partner with the Tidewater Emergency Medical Services (TEMS) Council, you help to support essential EMS system enhancements and events like the Tidewater Healthcare Education Expo. EMS system enhancements are crucial to keeping up with the rapidly changing delivery of high quality healthcare in the pre-hospital setting. We are currently pursuing two enhancement initiatives; Ultrasound and Whole Blood transfusion. To keep pace with the changes, education and training are an absolute necessity.
With the potential to reach more than 4,000 EMS providers, other key officials and organizations throughout the Tidewater Region, the annual Tidewater Healthcare Education Expo and the Quarterly Training and Education Experience provide quality educational opportunities. To support our EMS system enhancements, the annual Education Expo, and other events, you can select one of the four levels of partnership that provides your organization with the opportunity to advertise and promote your company as a partner of EMS here in the Tidewater region.

About the Expo
The Tidewater Emergency Medical Services (TEMS) Council is currently seeking sponsorships to help fund the 2022 Tidewater Healthcare Education Expo held May 16-21, 2023. This educational event for the TEMS region offers pre-hospital health care providers, nurses, advanced practitioners, and physicians the opportunity to earn continuing education credits toward recertification requirements.
More than 250 providers are expected to attend this five-day educational conference with over 115 courses that offer critical information of the highest quality. This event also hosts the TEMS Regional Annual Awards Ceremony, which recognizes provider excellence in 13 award categories. Those recipients then compete in the annual Governor’s EMS Awards program.

Make it Affordable and Successful
This year, the Tidewater Emergency Medical Services (TEMS) Council is seeking supporters. TEMS, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, through its relationship with the Virginia Office of EMS is working hard to raise funds to ensure the future of annual regional events.
In order to make these regional events successful and to keep costs low for our providers, we need help from sponsors like you! Your donations and support will help sustain all TEMS-sponsored events including the Tidewater Healthcare Education Expo, Quarterly Training Education Experience program and many other EMS educational programs.
